I’m ellie RIChard, a photographer from the New Hampshire Seacoast who grew up surrounded by the ocean and  mountains. Calling the local surf shop, Cinnamon Rainbows, my second home and everyone in it family. That environment shaped my love for creative expression and taught me to appreciate moments that feel both natural and full of life. Photography became my way of preserving those moments. Whether it’s the glow of sunrise over the water, the quiet in between looks, or the energy of people doing what they love.

I’m currently studying Marketing and Anthropology at the College of Charleston, set to graduate in the spring of 2026. My background in marketing helps me understand how to tell a story visually, while anthropology deepens my appreciation for the people and cultures behind each image.

Outside of photography, I’m passionate about volunteering and giving back. Events like Surfing with Smiles - where volunteers take those with special needs surfing - make my whole year. They bring me a sense of peace, happiness, and perspective that reminds me why I value connection so deeply, both in life and in my work.

As I prepare for post-grad life, I’m ready to fully pursue photography. Capturing images that reflect authenticity, community, and the adventurous spirit that first inspired me.
