“There’s hardly ever a swell up here, but when it hits, the lineup turns into beautiful mayhem”

Photos always start raw and clear, a couple layers of edits later and we remember what the day felt like both in and out of the water.

I grew up on a beach in

new england.

The Northeast will always be more than just where I’m from. It’s where I learned to love the ocean, where my community shaped me, and where childhood dreams began to take shape. The beaches here gave me a place to belong, the waves gave me lessons in patience and persistence, and the people gave me support that’s carried me into everything I do. Every time I’m back in the water here, I’m reminded of how lucky I am to call this place home. Even if I’m over thousand miles away I’m there in my mind.
